Tim Booth has been on the Canadian music scene for over 20 years, performing with a wide-array of groups in the Montreal and Toronto areas.
He has played with orchestras including Orchestra London, Hamilton Symphony Orchestra, Montréal Symphony Orchestra, the Metropolitan Orchestra, l'Opéra de Montréal, the National Ballet Orchestra, and the Canadian Opera Company Orchestra. Tim Has played with such artists as Aretha Franklin and Pavarotti to name just a few. In 2006 Tim Created the Toronto Art Orchesrta a jazz orchestra devoted to playing the greatest jazz master’s works. Here is a link to their web-site.
As a Film Composer Tim has done the music for several short films, including Happiness on a String, Red Pepper and Man on the Moon and is currently working on a feature film and several other projects. Tim Joined the Guild of Canadian Film Composers in Jan. 2005. Man on the Moon was screened at Cannes Film Festival in May 2005.
